One of the main factors that help Proficient Patios & Backyard Designs stand out from other outdoor living contractors in the region is our employees. Our full-time workers are company employees—not independent contractors—so they receive full benefits, including health insurance (50% subsidized by Proficient Patios), a 401k retirement plan that we match up to 4%, sick pay, and vacation pay. We also supply all the necessary tools, equipment, and transportation. This helps us deliver the high levels of craftsmanship and service our customers expect.

We are currently looking to add the following team members:

Patio Cover Installers

Applicants must have carpentry or metal framing experience. We have positions available for piece work and hourly work. For hourly positions, company trucks and tools will be provided.

Handyman/Delivery Tech

Applicants must have a valid driver’s license and be handy in all aspects of the industry.

Coatings Foreman

Applicants must have a minimum of three years of experience. Must know Spray-Deck, stamped concrete, stained concrete, epoxy. Piece-work and hourly positions available.

Concrete Finisher/Prepper Foreman

Applicants must have a minimum of three years of foreman experience in the pouring and prepping of concrete. Hourly and piece-work rates available.

In-Home Sales Representatives

Applicants must have a minimum of five years of in-home sales experience and be a closer. Commission-only positions are available.
